Terms & Conditions

By purchasing dahlia tubers from Mount Mera Botanical, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

We care deeply about the quality of our plants and want you to love your dahlias as much as we do. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us via email rather than social media so we can assist you promptly.

 


 

Ordering

Our dahlia tuber sale is conducted online only.

Please note that items in your cart are not reserved until checkout is completed and you receive an order confirmation email with an order number. Due to high demand, especially for rare varieties items may sell out before checkout is finalised.

Once an order has been placed, we are generally unable to add items or combine orders due to the time and labour involved. If you wish to purchase additional items, a separate order must be placed and will be shipped independently.

 


 

Shipping

We currently ship within New Zealand only and do not offer local pickup.

All orders will begin shipping from September. If this timeframe does not suit you, please do not place an order, as we may be unable to accommodate special shipping requests.

If you expect to be away during the shipping period, please include your unavailable dates in the order notes to avoid plants being left packaged for extended periods.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email. We kindly ask that you wait for this notification before contacting us about shipping updates, as we will be working as efficiently as possible to dispatch all orders.

Damaged Plants or Tubers

We guarantee that your order will arrive in good condition.

If your order arrives damaged, please email us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the issue. At our discretion, we may offer either a replacement or a refund.

Please note:

  • Some leaf yellowing or blackening during transit is normal and does not affect plant health.

  • Stems may appear soft after shipping due to lack of light and water but will recover quickly once planted.

  • Tuber size and appearance varies greatly, this alone is not indicative of how the tuber will perform.

Due to the nature of supplying a living product, we do not offer an extended warranty period. Once the product has been received, all responsibility for its care, including: storage, growing conditions, and any associated risk rests with the purchaser.

Purchase Limits

To ensure fair access to high-demand varieties, purchase limits may be applied to certain items. These limits will be clearly stated in the product descriptions, and we ask that they are respected.

 


 

Variety Availability

As we work with a live product, availability can sometimes be unpredictable. In rare cases, we may be unable to supply a specific variety you have ordered.

If this occurs, we will contact you to arrange a suitable replacement or provide a refund.

 


 

Returns, Replacements & Refunds

Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival.

If there are any issues, contact us within 24 hours via email at info@mountmerabotanical.com, including:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos of the issue

At our discretion, we will offer a replacement or refund where appropriate.

In some cases we may require the item be returned before a refund is issued.

Due to the nature of supplying a living product, we do not offer an extended warranty period. Once the product has been received, all responsibility for its care, including: storage, growing conditions, and any associated risk rests with the purchaser.

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

*We do not monitor social media messages for order issues, so please ensure all communication is via email.

 


 

Plant Health & True to Variety

We take great care to supply healthy plants that are true to type. However, as with all living plants:

  • Occasional errors in variety may occur

  • Dahlias can develop diseases that are not always detectable, including when plants appear healthy

By purchasing from us, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
